You need to have money in your budget for emergencies. Planning ahead will also give you time to check out prices for food and venues for you party. It is always a good idea to look around and to get a variety of prices.

One of the most important parts of a planning party is the number of guests you want to invite. You also want to be sure that people can make it your party. This is why it is always a good idea to send out invitations that require people to RSVP. This will enable you to get a count of how many people will be there and then you can plan for those people. Not knowing how many people will attend can cost you money in the end because you might have too much and you waste food or on the other hand you might not have enough and you might be rushing around trying to come up with something for those people.
